Gubbachhi.

Gubbachhi builds wooden puzzles and toys around India's folk art traditions and landmarks, turning Warli, Madhubani and Kalighat art styles, along with epics like the Ramayana and Mahabharath, into jigsaw puzzles kids can piece together. Available on Suspire, the range spans wooden puzzles, monument-building sets, stamp art kits, block puzzles for toddlers, and wooden teethers, made from natural wood. Built for parents looking to introduce children to Indian art, geography and culture through hands-on play, Gubbachhi keeps its 25-piece catalogue focused on that theme rather than generic toy designs.

Why Choose Gubbachhi Over Regular Wooden Toys

Most wooden puzzle brands stick to generic shapes, animals or alphabets. Gubbachhi builds its range specifically around Indian folk art and heritage, giving each puzzle a cultural reference point rather than a purely abstract design. Here's what stands out:

• Folk art as the puzzle design - the Warli, Madhubani and Kalighat puzzles use these specific Indian art styles as the puzzle image itself, rather than a generic illustration

• A dedicated monuments series - the Taj Mahal, Gateway of India and Lotus Temple sets are built as a themed collection of Indian landmarks

• Age-tiered design - My First Block Puzzles are sized for toddlers, while the epic and folk art puzzles suit older children

• Storytelling built in - sets like Once Upon a Farm Animal and Once Upon a Jungle Animal pair the toy with an accompanying storybook rather than shipping loose pieces alone

How Gubbachhi Fits Into Playtime and Early Learning

Gubbachhi's range is organised loosely by age and skill, so parents can pick based on what a child is ready for:

• Early sensory play - the Kilkila, Chimani and Chiluka teethers are designed for very young children, available individually or as a set of three

• First puzzles - My First Block Puzzles in Farm, Sea and Jungle themes are built for toddlers just starting with shape and picture matching

• Creative expression - the Stamp Art and Stencil Magic kits (fruits, flowers, vegetables, sea animals) come with paint and a cotton storage bag for open-ended art activities

• Cultural learning - the folk art and epic puzzles, along with the Indian Monuments series, give older children a hands-on way to engage with Indian art and landmarks
