Bhimal (Grewia optiva) is a common tree found in the lower Himalayas, usually used as cattle fodder by the locals, the soft twigs of this tree are collected and woven into ropes (resembling jute ropes) usually by local women which are in turn converted into baskets, mats, bags etc. These coasters are specially handmade from twigs to products by women in Rishikesh under the Gramotthan Sanstha that aims to provide financial freedom to the local women. 

Each set of 4 takes 24-30 person-hours to complete.

We offer different shipping rates for the different types of orders, i.e., prepaid, partially-paid and cash-on-delivery orders. They are as follows:

i) Prepaid Orders:
a) Free Shipping on orders above Rs. 1000.

ii) Cash on Delivery (COD):
