Tangram games are a great way to improve problem-solving skills, spatial reasoning, and fine motor skills. They are also a fun and challenging activity for people of all ages.
Tangram is marvelous open ended game with origins that can be traced way back to re-arrangement puzzles of the 3rd century BC!
A tangram traditionally consists of 7 'tans' or pieces, that can be rearranged in different ways to make hundreds of shapes. They can be used as a challenge (rearrangement puzzle) - observe the outline of a given shape and replicate it using all seven pieces, without overlap. Or they can be used to bring alive ones imagination or to create ones own shapes, patterns and stories.
At Scrapshala, we design durable wooden toys with minimal design and safe-to-use colours and stains, that makes these games unique, with unique traces of nature. Almost every piece is sanded and sawn by hand, which gives a different expression than commercial "factory-made" products and ensures the uniqueness of each piece.

Tips for playing tree buddy tangram wooden game:
Choose a challenge card from deck to follow
Arrange the tans on the playing board to match the challenge or pattern.
There is only one correct solution for each challenge, but there may be multiple ways to arrange the tans to create different shapes and objects.
If you get stuck, don't be afraid to try different combinations of tans.
There are no wrong answers, so have fun and be creative!
The player who answers the question on the card followed by making right pattern of the clue given on card wins the turn.
