When to use:

When to remove:

 One cup can collect menstrual blood for approx. up to 3-8 hours depending upon the flow. For good hygiene, cup should be emptied and washed every 8 hours even if it is not full.

Disinfecting in Microwave: Place the menstrual cup inside the container with stem at the bottom, fill it with water until the cup starts floating. Set the timer of the microwave for 4-5 minutes. The water must be boiling for disinfection to take place. Place the inverted lid on top (without closing it tightly) to allow the steam produced to escape. Since the container will be very hot after use, it is advised to let it cool down for a few minutes before taking it out from the microwave.
