The original Bento Jot was our love letter to stationery. The Dossier is the version built around the page.
The top layer holds the writing. The Sabre Twist, a brass-bodied pen with an anti-slip matte coating and a twist that opens in one clean motion. And the Terra Notes Multiscape set, four softcover notebooks filled with 120 GSM Munken ivory stock from Sweden, each carrying a different interior print. Ruled for words. Dot grid for shape. Checked for layout. Isometric for space. Four ways of thinking, and the right one is always the one in front of you.
Underneath sits the full base tray. Slicky Note, Dipped Pencils, Draft Scissor, Measuring Tape, Logo Pins, Al Ruler, Geo Eraser, Washi Tape and Gluestick, each in its own moulded place. Everything you reach for without thinking, finally in one place instead of four drawers.
Fourteen objects in two layers. Lower and easier to keep on a desk that is already busy, and more in it than the original. The trays stack, separate and carry, and the lid fits either one on its own. Take the writing layer to a meeting and leave the rest where it lives.
